
Dr Jeremy Anderson
Dr. Jeremy Anderson is a consultant clinical health psychologist. Having spent his formative years in northern Canada, he completed a PhD at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, studying the influence of culture on perceived stress and the cardiovascular response to anger.
He has previously worked in various settings including hospital-based adult mental health, smoking cessation, forensic assessment and vocational rehab. In 2010, he moved to Paris, and since 2014 he has been working with people with sickle cell disease, developing a special interest in finding new ways to ameliorate persistent pain.
Passionate about martial arts, having practiced and taught karate for over thirty years, enjoys playing and developing video games (‘digital therapeutics’) and apps that might be used to convey truths that need to be felt rather than heard. Enjoys woodworking, even if he is not good at it. He lives in London, UK with his wife Julie and his dog.
